Above all else, you are part of a team. Or — you were once. Not anymore. That’s maybe the hardest part to wrap your head around, even now.
The Wilderness is a Wretched & Alone game in which you take the place of the sole survivor of a horrible accident, now stranded in the middle of nowhere with no means of rescue. It is also a game about hope, resilience, and what happens when you reach a complete lack thereof.
Inspired by such uplifting projects as Yellowjackets, The Wilds, Society of the Snow, and Lost.

This game requires a standard deck of 52 playing cards, a tumbling block tower, and a means of recording your experience: a physical journal is recommended, but anything else works just fine.
